Though there are options a bit faster than a camel, please note that there is (annoyingly) NO Uber or any other ride sharing / taxi app in Siena.

Wedding Day transportation

Shuttle

We will be providing transport to/from the wedding venue (25 mins south-east of Siena) on private minibuses for those staying in the town centre.

Due to Siena's (beautiful) historic city walls and traffic restrictions, pickups will be at a designated location just outside the limited-traffic zone (ie: outside the medieval walls). This pickup/dropoff point should be a short walk from your hotel/accommodation if you are staying centrally, as Siena is very small.

Please be sure to tick "interested" in the shuttle service when you RSVP in order to help us plan appropriately. We'll provide clear details closer to the time.

Taxis

There are a number of taxi companies in Siena (and in fact, they're even allowed inside of the city walls!) so you may find it convenient to book your own journey.

However, given Siena is a small town, it's possible there won't be enough taxis to cater for everyone at the same time, so pre-booking would be required if you want to make it by dinner time 😉 The taxi booking line is also unlikely to answer at night, so please pre-book a return journey too.

Private transport & Driving

Private transport: If you’d rather book your own transportation without relying on taxis (for either the wedding or other excursions outside the city), consider using one of the highly-reviewed companies here.

We might have more specific recommendations further down the line, stay tuned.

Driving: If you're not overindulging on the wine/spritz, parking is available at the wedding venue. We'll provide the exact venue address on request.
