When should I RSVP?

It would be extremely helpful if you could RSVP as soon as possible, as it will help us hugely with planning. That being said, we'd expect final RSVPs in late March 2025.

If you definitely can't attend, please do let us know, we promise not to be offended! We're grateful you even considered it 😊

What is the exact location of the wedding venue? How do I get there?

Maybe it’s a bit silly, but we’d like to keep the wedding venue as a little surprise for our guests. It is located 20-25 mins south-east of Siena. We will be providing transportation from central Siena (and back), but if you’d rather stay in the countryside and/or organise your own transport, pre-booking a taxi will be required (the taxi booking line is unlikely to answer at night). Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The plan is for an outdoor wedding, on the grass / cobblestones surrounding the venue, from around 3pm onwards to avoid the peak sun/heat of the day. There are indoor arrangements at the same venue in the event that Tuscany blesses us with some rain instead.

Ladies: please wear a block heel or go for flats. The grass / cobblestones can be treacherous! That said, there are no stairs to manage (thank goodness!)

What kind of food/drink options will be available?

In summary... lots! 😆

For the welcome event (Friday): We'll be serving plenty of lighter bites (eg. charcuterie, cheese, pasta bowls) along with drinks.

On the wedding day (Saturday): We will serve lots of snacks during the “aperitivo” after the ceremony, followed by a full 3-4 course meal. There will be plenty of food, so don’t worry and come hungry! There will also be an open bar serving beer, wine and spirits for the whole night.

We'll be reaching out again in mid-February to collect your main course choice, after finalising the menu.

For the pool party (Sunday): There will be poolside drinks and enough food to scare the hangover away!

When should I book? Is anything subject to change?

The dates and venues are 100% confirmed. We recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as September in beautiful Tuscany is still considered 'peak' season for both flights & hotels. A lot of hotels and Airbnbs offer flexible cancellation policies (be sure to check carefully) in case you need to make any last-minute changes.

Is there a hotel block / wedding venue hotel?

Our wedding venue only has a small handful of rooms for our immediate family, so sadly we can’t accommodate any more guests there. As of this moment we haven’t arranged an official “hotel block” of rooms, but given Siena is very small (and very walkable), feel free to book anywhere within/near the old city walls that suits your budget. Where can I get my hair/makeup done?

It’s worth noting that Siena is a small town, with few hair salons, so please book early to avoid disappointment! We’ll be providing some recommendations in the Things To Do page very soon, but both of the salons listed here are a short taxi away from the town centre and have very good reviews. A “piega” is a blow-dry and a “acconciatura” is a hairstyle/up-do.

Are children welcome?

We love your children, but unfortunately we can't accommodate them at the wedding.

Can I park at the venue?

Yes, there should be ample space to park for free, on-site for both the wedding day (Saturday) and pool party (Sunday). We have exclusive hire of the venue, so parking overnight is also fine if you'd like to take a taxi home on the Saturday night and come back for your car the next day.

Do you have a gift registry?

We absolutely do not expect or encourage gifts. Your presence at our wedding is more than enough ❤️
